Sarah M Campbell

Clinical Psychologist, MSocSci, PgDipClinPsych

As A Therapist…

Sarah is a Clinical Psychologist dedicated to helping people overcome the mental battles and emotional scars that keep them stuck. She is particularly comfortable working with those who have difficulties identifying and expressing emotions, managing bottled-up frustrations, and maintaining emotional closeness with loved ones. As part of this, she is skilled at helping people who rely heavily on self-sufficiency, working on things like trust, self-esteem, and perfectionism to reduce the risks of stress and burnout. She does this by striking a balance between self-discovery and developing practical strategies to keep growing through life.

As An Expert Witness…

Sarah brings clarity by conducting comprehensive assessments that help the courts make informed decisions. Having worked in some fairly challenging environments for more than a decade, including forensic mental health units, remote Aboriginal communities, jails, and offshore processing centers, she can contribute unique insights to more clinically complex matters. She is particularly interested in untangling issues to do with trauma, personality, and neurodivergence, including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD and cognitive impairments – focusing on how these different conditions are relevant to offending pathways, risk, and rehabilitation needs. Sarah has prepared more than one hundred reports for local, district and family courts.

In her Role as Supervisor…

In her role as a Supervisor, Sarah guides professionals to explore dynamics and habits that are playing out in the workplace, particularly when issues of burnout, depression, anxiety and stress are manifesting and impacting performance.
